Hi I’m Lisa and welcome to Love Your Skin - your place to find international salon quality skincare products, not available off the shelf in Australasia. Great brands with products that really perform and all at approachable prices.

 

I decided to start Love Your Skin to fill a need for women and men of all ages that wanted great skincare and didn’t necessarily want to go to a salon for any number of reasons.

When I thought about the skincare ranges that we were going to sell I wanted to make sure they were special, not the “pretty packaging” type special, but the kind that really does something and delivers on its promise.

My first brand, Celazome, is a range that was developed in Florida, USA. Their initial product (Penetrating Moisturising Cream) was actually developed by a doctor for burns patients. This moisturising cream and lotion is also fantastic for people that suffer from psoriasis and eczema. The range grew from there and has always been developed using medical grade ingredients. They say that Celazome is “skin care that works as hard as you do” - no matter what your skin type there is something for everyone especially problem skin types.

My next brand was Gingi - a very well regarded American salon brand. The Gingi unisex range has been developed by scientists using the best natural active ingredients available. About five years ago they were invited to have their products in the goody bags for the presenters and nominees for the Oscars and the Emmys - and have been in them since due to the great response. Once these people used the products they rang to re-order time and time again and I think that speaks for itself. It really is the Skincare of the Stars!

Then there is Healing Anthropology - a completely natural, “all good for you” range that also has some lovely products for babies. Healing Anthropology offers products with the unique combination of being wonderfully luxurious and completely free of any toxins or chemical preservatives. Because of this, their products would not harm you if eaten, and although they do not suggest that you eat them(!), they do suggest they be treated as “food for the skin.”

The great thing about all our brands is that they have kept the ranges small, focusing on perfecting products that really perform. Our ranges are suitable for both women and men with products for young and old alike as well as those with specific skincare needs.

I also understand that sometimes we don’t really know what we need or what will work best by just reading about them, so I have a qualified beauty therapist on board. The lovely Monique is a married mother of two children who is also a registered nurse; you don’t get much better than that! And she is passionate about skin; I know you’ll be in good hands.

So aside from bringing you great skin care I wanted to make it easy for you to come back, we have a loyalty club – “I love my Skin” that gives you an extra discount each time you shop, no need to collect reward points that you never seem to get to use, I’d rather you got the discount each time you shop. Monique Bishell ? Skincare Advisor

Our Beauty advisor Monique Bishell comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience. She is not only a gorgeous 37-year-old wife and mother, but also a trained beautician and nurse.

"Hello my name is Monique Bishell; I?m a thirty seven year old mother of two. I did my training as a comprehensive nurse five years ago and have worked in the fields of medical, surgical, maternity and rural nursing.

One of my main interests is the Skin ? which is of course the body?s largest organ. This interest led me to work in a Medispa and train as a beautician and IPL technician.

Having been involved in this industry I was keen to head out on my own to be able to offer a more holistic and thorough approach to clients and I now supplement my beautician business with helping Lisa and Steve with product and skincare analysis and advice for Love Your Skin.

I am very excited to be a part of Love Your Skin: I believe in the products that we sell and have a great knowledge of them all. Every day I look forward to seeing what questions will come in for me to answer ? so get writing now!"

Office Manager

Steve Stone

My husband Steve has been very helpful and supportive throughout the set up and launch of Love Your Skin, especially around marketing and operations.

"Hey, I?m just the husband (or maybe just the ?token male?) on the team, but I use the products and am absolutely converted! I was told by one of the doctors at Celazome that the best thing I could do for my skin would be to protect it from the sun, so I use a daily moisturizing SPF15 product from Celazome and it has really made a difference. After a bit of encouragement from Lisa I also now use the eye cream product from Gingi (hey, Pierce Brosnan swears by it!). I guess even the most blokey of men could do with a helping hand in the skin department and here?s the place to find the products to do the job ? happy shopping!"
